Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (forgot password) Disable the lock screen

Android Enthusiasts Asked by Sara on September 19, 2020

I have had my Samsung Tab for over a year and my mom put a password on it and she forgot what the password was. Is there anyway I can access it without losing any of my games or files, or will I have to do the Hard Reset?

One Answer

Assuming you had a Samsung account setup correctly (and activated?), one may go to the website 'findmymobile.samsung.com' on a seperate device. Once there, they should log in. "On the next screen, click Find, then More, then Unlock My Device." This will allow one to change the authentication.
