I deleted minecraft (java) the wrong way and now when i install it my versions folder and a lot of the other minecraft folders don’t get downloaded… The launcher works perfectly fine it loads up but you can’t play anything and if you try to add a new world it won’t work and if you try to use different versions nothing shows up, if anybody knows how to help it would be very appreciated
The best app to uninstall an app from your computer is "Reg Organizer". Using it you can uninstall an app and look for the junk the app left after the uninstallation. But you can also delete Minecraft from the default Windows uninstaller: StartSettingsApps
After the uninstallation, try finding the left, junk folders of the game. For example the best place to look for it is in: C:UsersAppDataRoaming If you see folder called .minecraft just delete it. Afterwards install Minecraft from the official website (minecraft.net)
