How to torrify the Ubuntu host?

#sudo apt-get install tor tor-geoipdb torsocks

After this command, tor service was installed in my Ubuntu.

#service tor start
#service tor status

These commands showed me that tor service is active. I checked my IP address but there was no change. How to fix this issue?
