I have installed Ubuntu 20.10. I have a HP Elitebook 8570w with Nvidia Quadro k1000m graphics card.

I can’t select 1920 x 1080 resolution for my external screen

I have tried:

xrandr --newmode "1920x1080" 173.00 1920 2048 2248 2576 1080 1083 1088 1120 -hsync +vsync
xrandr --addmode VGA-1 1920x1080
xrandr --output VGA-1 --mode 1920x1080

But I get this error when I run the second command
