How did humans evolve to appreciate Entertainment? What role does Entertainment have in survival and natural selection?

Humans appreciate sports (watching) and entertainment (arts, palys, movies, etc.) I am not sure if other animals can appreciate watching sports or other forms of entertainment.

I am wondering what role does entertainment play in:

• wellbeing
• suitability
• natural selection

Is above impact psychological in nature?

Though animals like to play do they also get entertained by watching other activities? How does this impact their:

as an individual organism and as a species as a whole?
