Configuring the wing panel

elementary OS Asked by Juergen Leo von Staerk on December 6, 2020

I lost the keyboard layout indicator from the wing panel. I reinstalled the system language settings and keyboard settings, but it didn’t help. Any ideas how to fix this?

I had the same issue and solved it by deleting all languages in keyboard settings, and re-adding them again, as stated in this post:

Problem with keyboard language indicator

I just had the same exact problem... I was using the same version of elementary in an older computer, which I then installed in a brand new Lenovo, but cannot get this feature to appear on the wingpanel as it did in the previous one. I can still toggle between languages using the keyboard shortcuts, but cannot seem to find the right fix... F1!!!
