Subject-verb agreement: bloom/s and grow/s

English Language & Usage Asked by Ada Lewis on January 5, 2021

Is the subject verb agreement in this sentence correct?

I hope that your love for each other blooms brighter and your commitment grows stronger with each passing day.

How is it different when you say:

May your love for each other bloom brighter and your commitment grow stronger with each passing day?

Thanks
