ESRI Terrain Tools Sky Model Fail

Geographic Information Systems Asked by Andre S on January 3, 2021

I installed the Terrain Tools 1.1 in my ArcGIS 10.4 and ran several scripts (MDOW, etc), but the SkyModel failed a bunch of times with the pre-built points.

The Sky Model is a quite unusual script, because it uses a text file archive to orient several light spots to create a hillshade, and this light spots can be create in a small app called SkyLuminance.

After testing several groups of points and receiving a lot of error messages I realized that script was only working with a minimal amount of points, 90 more or less, insted of the 150-300 that the app can generate.

With 350 points I receive this error message:

Failed to execute (SkyModel). Failed at Tue Jun 16 05:13:14 2020

I have no idea how to solve this issue. Can someone help?
If you going to use the Sky Model for the first time, read the manual.
