numpad not working in wolframscript

I am not sure if this question is suitable here, if so please migrate or guide.

I just installed wolframscript.exe via a WolframEngine installation. After launching it in terminal, the numpad doesn’t work. Is this is a bug? Any way to fix this?

Env:
Windows 1909
Wolfram Language 12.1.1 Engine for Microsoft Windows (64-bit)
Terminal: cmd
