firefox multi-container disappears from ff's toolbar

I have noticed that whenever I set in Firefox to not save history on exit, multi-container icon disappears from the toolbar firefox.

Is it by design that history can’t be set to be cleaned up on firefox exit/restart to keep multi-container available and working in Firefox?
