How to save each column in excel in a separate worksheet and then in a new xlx file?

Super User Asked by Anca on February 10, 2021

I’m trying to find out a solution for sending the data from 200 columns in the same worksheet, to separate worksheets which afterwards I would like to save as separate files.

Each of the 200 columns contains the same type of data (250 different links to some pages). I would like to save each column as a new file, to that I can send each user its own set of links. And I figured that the easiest way is first to send each column data to a new worksheet, then save each worksheet as a new file. But I did not find any formula to simply copy-paste automatically each column to a new worksheet.

Is there any way that I can do this automatically? It is very time-consuming to copy-paste the data from each column in a new sheet, since there are 200 columns.

Thanks in advance!
