Is there a way to have DHCP binding like IPv4 for IPv6? My router is a ZTE H288A. I set the DHCP bindings for my devices so it would have the same public ip address when connected to the network (until I restart the router).
Today, the ip address suddenly became IPv6. Is there a way to make my devices use the same public ip address for IPv6 as well? The IPv6 doesn’t have the DHCP Binding
section that the IPv4 settings has (I can add devices here); it has Static Prefix
, DHCPv6 Server
, RA Service
.
I also tried switching the IPv6 Switch
off to switch it to IPv4 by default but the DHCP bindings don’t work anymore.
PS
We’re working from home now and we need to have our ip addresses whitelisted so it’s a hassle to have it whitelisted all the time and for different devices.
