Can Postgres data_directory be Moved to Block Storage on OpenBSD?

Unix & Linux Asked by nelsonic on October 14, 2020

Trying to figure out if we can switch Operating System from Linux (Ubuntu) to OpenBSD.
Moving the Postgres data_directory to the Block Storage works flawlessly on Ubuntu/Debian
e.g: https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tutorials/how-to-move-a-postgresql-data-directory-to-a-new-location-on-ubuntu-18-04

Question is: can we use Block Storage with Postgres on OpenBSD?
Ideally we would like to use AWS and Terraform to set it all up, but if it’s possible on any Cloud provider that has Block Storage, we would switch if necessary.
